This photo is of graffiti in San Francisco. I was amazed at how beautiful this art was, considering it was on the side of a building. I also thought it was nuts how large this is!

There is this blue line that runs on the sidewalk downtown. I don’t really know what it is for, but it is over a pretty large area. It was just really interesting to me.

I think that this is a really good photo of stefan. It’s really bright and alive. Again, this was not a posed photo, but a moment captured in time.

This picture makes me think of a photo that would have been taken in the 80s. I don’t know why, it just gives me that vibe. I really like that she is towards the right side of the photo. I also love how bright it is, leaving that shadow to the left of her.

I love that his smile in this photo is really sincere. He didn’t really want to participate, but towards the end he started to loosen up and laugh at what was going on. I like that the top of his head and his legs are cut off, because I think that it really makes you focus on his face and smile.

IMG_0206

I think that this picture is hilarious. She looks like a snake or something. I can’t believe she opened her mouth that wide.

I mostly just think that this picture is really funny. The look on her face is hilarious, and it is really surprising that my dad is smiling, because he doesn’t usually smile in pictures. There is something odd about this picture that I really like, I think it’s the fact that he is leaning forward a little and it makes his head and torso look really big.

I think that this is a really good picture. They are both smiling and the light is so bright, it makes it look like a really happy moment.

I really just like this picture of Wuffles, he looks so innocent. I also like that most of photo is dark, but the flash really made him stand out. What a beautiful portrait.

This photo is of Robbie and Adam. I love that this photo is not posed at all, and that the emotions on their faces are real. This is my favorite type of photography, where you can tell the the emotions are true and that nothing is posed.

IMG_4307

I love how Andrew’s hand is the only thing that is really in focus. Again, this was a spontaneous photo, not posed.

IMG_4303

I love this photo because there is no order to it. It’s just chaos. I really like the foot that is closest in the frame.

This is a photo of one of my Tata’s horses. I really like the contrast of her dark color over the brightness of the sky. I also like how the bars frame the horse’s face.

The sky looked so beautiful this day. This photo was taken in Sonoita, which is why there is only one house in view in this photo. I just thought that the green on the hill and the color of the sky were beautiful together.

This photo is of the book/tree at the Oro Valley library. I love the way the sun bounces off of the metal leaves. At certain angles it almost looks like this tree could be real.

This photo was taken at some ruins near Ocean Beach. I think the dark and dreary sky really adds to the mood of the picture.

IMG_0571

This is a picture of a bunch of Asian kids at the beach. It was in this little cove-like area, and these kids were basically the only people there. They were having a lot of fun, even though the water was freezing.

IMG_0576

This photo was taken when I found this path that cut right through all of the greenery. It was beautiful and made you feel like you were somewhere else, like in a book or something.

This is what the pier looks like through a fisheye lens. I don’t really know why I like this photo, but I do. Good memories.

This is what my friends look like through a fisheye lens. They were all checking out the cliffs at Ocean Beach. This is right after I lost my phone.

This is what my boyfriend looks like through a fisheye lens. I think he was throwing something or flinging some kelp in this picture, but I don’t really remember.

This photo was taken at the HangArt. I thought this was a funny set up, a trailer with Christmas lights still on it and a bunch of random bikes. Trailer trash.

IMG_1058

This is just an artsy photo that Adriana and I produced. It’s pretty blurry, but that was the look we were going for.

IMG_1060

A lonely chair at the venue. This is horribly blurry, but reminds me of a scary movie for some reason. Artsy.

The Bay

gilbert-from-tucson

This is a photo of a drawing that someone did when we went to San Francisco last summer that I was able to find again over Spring Break. I was surprised that it was still there because it was drawn with washable marker. Gilbert from Tucson!

zoesf

This photo was taken in Sausalito while we were looking at San Francisco. The shadows in the foreground aren’t really what I wanted, but the sun was starting to go down and that is what I had to work with.

sutro-baths

This photo was taken at the Sutro Baths, which are ruins near/on Ocean Beach. I actually think the Baths are quite eerie, because it’s really quiet and there haven’t been very many people there the last two times I’ve gone. I have mixed feelings about there being graffiti on the Baths, but nonetheless I thought it looked pretty cool and this door reminded me of something I read in Helter Skelter.

I think I missed one Thursday, so here are my last 3 photos before Spring Break.

img_0534

I found it really interesting that her hat had it’s own belt. The light was so nice in that class on this day. No flash, so nice.

img_0516

At first I really hated how blurry this photo is, but then I looked at it more carefully and I think the blur adds to the mystery. Boot boy usually just looks goofy, but I think that with that hat on he looks really tough. The facial expression adds to that tough guy look.

img_0502

This was taken at lunch after a meeting at work. Work meetings are the best because all of the employees come in really tired and really sloppy looking. Case in point, Dan. He wore a hat all morning and took it off at lunch…to our dismay.
